Management Team Non Executives Alan Barrell has some 30 years experience in senior positions in technology-based industries including 6 years as CEO of Baxter UK and CEO of Domino and later Willet International.. Alan was the Founder and Managing Partner of the Cambridge Gateway Fund a £35million technology VC fund as well as Library House, a Cambridge based investor organisation. Alan holds a number of appointments in the charities arena as well as being professor of entrepreneurship at the University of Luton. He holds a number of other appointments with both UK universities and in China, Xiamen. He is the Chairman of China Business solutions and is very active in supporting business links between the UK and China. In April 2005, in recognition of his tireless support to a wide range of small companies and charities, Alan was one of only 10 individuals to receive the inaugural Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion. Kelvin Lack BSc. Founded a multi million pound management consultancy that he took through to a successful trade sale to Siemens. He is a recognised expert in risk management and has written best practice guidance in these areas for the U.K government. |
